My College Match is committed to providing Pro Bono services
in the high school and college admission process to surviving Cancer patients.
A My College Match client will never pay for My College Match high school or college admission services.
We offer this opportunity in order to give
back to parents and affected family members time to heal and enjoy their time
together with the student without any additional financial stresses.
My passion to help surviving patients comes from a personal
one. At the age of 9 I lost my youngest
brother due to due malpractice, which lead to complications of living with
cancer. After losing my brother, my
Mother had to immediately return to the every day chores of her life, without
any time to heal and process her experience as a mother losing her child. She also struggled financially having to put
each of my sisters and I through college after losing thousands of dollars to
medical and funeral expenses.
My brother Juan “Juanito” Flores
Jr., fought for over 3 years and gained his wings at
the age of 5; unfortunate loss for us, but he has been the vision for the work
that I do.
My College Match is proud to offer these services to students
in order to help improve communities financially and its humanity; however, we
cannot offer its services to each and every one who inquires. My College
Match’s Leadership guarantees quality work, not quantitative; therefore we are
very selective of who receives pro bono services through a thorough assessment.
Students who receive these services are asked to
pay-it-forward by mentoring underprivileged students during their own college
admission process.
